Will hit multiple i-devices

As it is an integral part of the new iPhone 5, it is no wonder that Apple shared some details regarding iOS 6 that was officially unveiled back in June at WWDC. It looks like it will hit a wide list of i-devices on September 19th.

As noted earlier this year, the new iOS will feature a bunch of enhancements to Siri, Facebook integration, FaceTime or iMessage communication between Mac, iPad and iPhone devices, FaceTime over 3G and 4G, removal of Google Maps and YouTube, a replacement Apple Map app that will feature impressive vector graphics, integrated Siri navigation and Flyover views.

iOS 6 will be available on iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, the new iPad, iPad 2, iPod Touch and, of course, the new iPhone 5. The update will roll out on September 19.
