It is not vapourware more vapour-rub

Samsung will launched a real Tizen smartphone which is not a prototype, or vapourware tomorrow.

Dubbed the Samsung Z, the phone is Samsung's attempt at a homegrown non-Android OS which it first shoved under the bonnet of its Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Samsung Z will feature a 720p HD, AMOLED display with a quad-core, 2.3GHz Chipzilla CPU with 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, LTE, an 8-megapixel camera, a heartrate sensor and fingerprint scanner.

We are expecting to see the same design language featured in its Android-based Galaxy S devices, especially in the app drawer, notification tray and homescreen widgets. Samsung is promising a slim, angular design and will launch it in black and gold. It will be launched tomorrow at the Tizen developer conference in San Francisco.

It'll be available first in Russia if it can prove to the authorities that it is not anti-christian or homosexual and other markets shortly thereafter. We still don’t know how much it will cost.
