Snapdragon 615 and 8.3 inch screen

LG has just announced its LG G PAD II and this 8.3 inch tablet will be available soon.

It is quite late to announce new hardware considering that we will finish this year in just a week from now, but LG believes that they needed to do this in late 2015.

The new tablet is an addition to the 10-inch device that the company launched earlier and a real replacement for the LG G PAD 8.3 that was launched almost two years ago. The new LG G PAD II is using the Snapdragon 615 octa core processor as well as 1920x1200 8.3 inch screen. This is larger than Full HD resolution and for those who wonder the tablet has 2GB or RAM as well as default 16GB of storage.

LG pledged its alliance to Qualcomm as the original LG G PAD used the Snapdragon 600 and the new 10-inch version is using the Snapdragon 800.

Snapdragon 615 features Adreno 405 graphics, 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front camera. There will be a WiFi only and LTE version of the tablet and both measuring 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.8mm and 366 grams.

It will ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and some office aps pre loaded. The 4G LTE is present with the 4G version of the tablet while both have 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The tablet comes with a built in stylus.

The price is still unknown and the LTE version of the tablet will start selling in Korea as of today for an unknown price.
