Mi 4 successor has 64GB storage

While Xiaomi was showing off its flagship Mi5 powered with latest Snapdragon 820, it also quietly announced its Xiaomi Mi 4S model which has a lot of good things going for it.

This new phone is meant to replace the Xiaomi Mi 4 which was a phone we had a lot of good things to say about when we tested it in December 2015. The new Mi4S has hexa-core Snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13 megapixel rear camera, fingerprint sensor and 3260 mAh battery as well as 5-inch 1920x1080 screen.

The phone has a metal frame, front and rear glass body and it bings a fingerprint sensor to the Mi4 family. Last year's model didn’t have these features. The phonekept its dimensions of 139.26 x 70.76 x 7.8mm and weighs just 133g. It even has a USB Type-C and an SoC that supports Quick Charge 2.0

The phone supports 4G LTE and VoLTE, dual SIM with a Dual-4G LTE standby, Infrared remote sensor and comes with MIUI 7. If things are the same as the more expensive Xiaomi Mi5, it will be an Android 6.0 based phone too.

It will be available in black, white, and gold and pink. Unlike Xiaomi MI5 international version, the Mi4S is currently meant for China. Thanks to a dozen shops in China, it will get arrive in Europe, America or elsewhere but you will have to add the custom and duty fees on top of the price.
