Meizu M3 Note has been officially released with the specification we revealed before.

The successor of Meizu M2 Note is called Meizu M3 Note and it has a 5.5-inch phablet sized display with a Full HD resolution LCD screen. It has a 3200 mAh battery and will go on sale from April 11 at the Meizu website and JD.com. The price is 799 Yuan (109.85 EUR or $123 USD) for 16GB/2GB RAM version and 999 Yuan (137.35 EUR or $153.87 USD) for 32GB/3GB LPDDR3 RAM version. It is made from a metal unibody, which is quite amazing to see at this price point.

Meizu M3 Note1

The Meizu M3 Note phone is boosted by the Helio P10 1.8 GHz clocked octa Cortex-A53 dual cluster processor. Due to its 28nm HP/TSMC manufacturing it should have a better battery life too. It is a huge jump from 1.3GHz to 1.8GHz but we expected that the Helio P10 will have 2.0 GHz clocks.

The GPU will get a big upgrade from the Mali-T720MP3 to a dual-core 64-bit Mali-T860 GPU graphics running at 700 MHz. The 4100 mAh battery is a great size for this price category.

The phone supports dual-sim and micro SD. It has a 13 megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, five-element lens, PDAF and front five megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, five-element lens.

The fingerprint scanner resembles the one that the company has been shipping with the Meizu MX5 – the mTouch 2.1. The Meizu M3 Note measures 153.8 x 75.6 x 8.2mm, and weighs 163 grams. The device comes in Gray, Silver or Gold.

This is the first phone from Meizu to support a Cat 6. Modem – with speeds up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload including support for carrier aggregation and VoLTE.

So far the phone is only being launched in China, but we are sure that it will find its way to Europe and USA, via e-tail businesses.
