iPhone 7 mock ups caught on video

No 3.5-mm audio

We are roughly just a month away from the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus launch. The iPhone 6SE seems like a more appropriate name since we don’t expect any big upgrade from these phones,  but then again, maybe we'll be surprised.

The latest leak has the three mock up devices iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 PRO but again, a prominent leaker does  claim that there will only be two iPhones. The latest video shows three mock up devices, all coming without the 3.5-mm audio connector. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus look similar with the main difference that they come in different screen sizes.

This alleged PRO version of the phone has a different, wider, dual camera. The main idea is that it might take  better pictures. Knowing Apple’s business model, they will probably charge substantially more for the PRO version, because they can.

The next generation iPhones, lets call them the iPhone 7s,  are going to be the world’s first 10nm SoC, and A10 that allegedly now comes with 3GB of RAM. Apple customers will definitely be all over these phones and Apple will again claim that it invented the wheel since it dropped the 3.5-mm connector, you know the water can get deeper inside a phone. Another reason to get rid of the 3.5-mm connector is to make the phone thinner.

The most popular demand is for a longer lasting battery life, something that can only marginally increase in  thinner phones.
