Apple event starts real soon now

by on07 September 2016

Here's how to watch it

Apple's event, where we will see new iPhone 7 smartphones and probably some other new devices, will start in less than an hour (10AM PDT) at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco, California and now there is a way to see the live stream, even if you are using a PC.

While the live stream was usually limited to Safari on Apple mobile devices, running on iOS 7.0 or later, or a Mac with OS X v10.8.5 or later, as of last year, you can also watch it on a Windows PC as well, as long as you use the Microsoft Edge browser. In case you are using a different browser, there will be a couple of direct links to the stream.

All you need to do is hit Apple's website where the live stream will start

Earlier rumors suggest that we will see two new iPhone devices, most likely called the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. There are a couple of updates expected including a slightly different design, no 3.5mm headset jack, new Smart Connector support, dual rear cameras, water resistance and even a new A10 chipset.

There were also a couple of rumors that Apple could release a new Apple Watch, which will retain the same design but get a few new features, especially in the battery department.

Hopefully, we will see a surprise or two, but so far it appears that this will be a standard Apple iPhone event.
