Surprisingly the new Rafre model is the second soap-and-waterproof phone from Kyocera so the outfit must think that the idea has legs.

This time out, the Android handset has the bonus of resisting foaming body soap if you are likely to want to text or read your email in the shower. The touchscreen works while wet apparently.

It is just the thing for those OCD people who are terrified of their phone becoming bacteria traps.It seems however that Kyocera only believes that these types of people live in Japan as the phone will only be available in the land of the Rising Sun. There is no mention of a price or if it is dishwasher proof. We doubt the latter. 

The handset ships with Nougat, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 3,000mAh battery.
