Announced back in July, the smaller 10-inch Surface Go has raised a lot of attention with its affordable $399 starting price and while the LTE version has been announced, it has just shown up for pre-order at the Microsoft Store.

The Surface Go promised to have an up to 9-hour battery life, be ultra-portable with a 10-inch screen and 522g weight, and come with a cool optional Type Cover for $99, Signature Type Cover for $129.99, or the Surface Pen for $99.

The Surface Go LTE version comes with the same Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y CPU, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage, and is up for pre-order for $679, or £619 inc. VAT in the UK. There a couple of versions of the Surface Go with LTE in the US, including:

• Surface Pro with LTE Advanced with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for $679
• Surface Pro with LTE Advanced for Business with Windows 10 Pro, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for $729
• Surface Pro with LTE Advanced for Business with Windows 10 Pro, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for $829

The Surface Go LTE will probably also show up in physical Microsoft Stores, as well be offered under contract with the usual mobile carriers.
