Still as difficult to fix as the One M8

HTC has one of the most expensive / luxurious looking Android phones on the market, and the fact that One flagships have a gorgeous all-metal body comes at a price.

For a while there have been leaked images  of the upcoming HTC One M9 Plus and it has turned out that they are mostly right.

With Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC

Just as its new flagship, the HTC One M9, started to appear in European retail/e-tail, HTC announced a new version of the HTC One M8 smartphone, the new mid-range HTC One M8s.

5.2-inch, MediaTek MT6795T inside

HTC has invited press to an event in Shanghai and they will most likely see the HTC One M9+, and possibly the E9, an inexpensive version of the new HTC One.

Both rely on MediaTek 6795 SoC

HTC will be launching two cool phones to follow up the HTC One M9 release. The flagship phone looks good and performs quite well, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. We could not get to overheat it doing our time with the device.

At its dedicated Utopia in Progress event at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona, HTC has now officially unveiled its new HTC One M9 smartphone.

Lollipop rolls out in January for EU phones

We were lucky to find out that unlocked HTC One phones across Europe are receiving the Lollipop update as of this morning.
