Qualcomm takes the lead
It has been quite some time since Qualcomm announced Snapdragon X16, the world’s first Gigabit LTE modem. The same GigabitLTE Snapdragon X16 modem is now part of the Snapdragon 835 - a 10nm SoC that is about to debut in a dozen high end phones.
Looking better and better
While we are yet to see an actual device powered by Qualcomm's upcoming flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC, the latest benchmark shows promising performance.
No chip for others
According to the latest report, it appears that Samsung managed to secure an exclusive deal with Qualcomm, scoring the latest and fastest Snapdragon 835 SoC for its upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone, which means that other flagships will have to settle for Snapdragon 821.
