With Gigabyte going all green with DES and what not, overclockers will be glad to know that they haven't been forgotten in this new world, as Gigabyte is looking to segment its product range and target specific markets.

As such, motherboards with the DS5 designation will specifically target overclockers rather than just being another mid to high-end offering. The boards will still feature a range of advanced features, but they will be significantly different from the current DS5 range.

The DQ6 will be Gigabyte's flagship series and continue to include over the top features, but when it comes to the best overclocking boards from Gigabyte, then look no further than the DS5-series.
