In Hybrid Graphics

ATI still calls its Hybrid Crossfire with its Hybrid Graphics name and we can now confirm that the new AMD 790GX chipset will score about 20 percent more than the currently available AMD 780G.

This increase is based on scores in 3Dmark generated by 780G+Radeon 3470 vs. an AMD 790GX board with Radeon 3470.

The older 780G platform with Radeon 3470 scores 2740 points, which is some 300 points more than the Radeon 3470 alone; while the new AMD 790GX in Hybrid mode with Radeon 3470 scores 3300.

The new chipset will get roughly 20 percent more performance and it is likely to beat any Nvidia and Intel offerings around. As we've said before, it comes in June.
