The workstation models are here

The final two Asus X58 boards that we're aware of have finally been captured by a digital camera and made an appearance over at Xfastest, and the two models are the P6T WS Professional and P6T6 WS Revolution.

The two are actually quite different, as the Professional has a pair of PCI-X slots, as well as two x16 PCIe 2.0 slots, an x1 PCIe slot and a PCI slot, whereas the Revolution has a whopping six x16 PCIe 2.0 slots. We presume the six slots are not full bandwidth, although we're not sure about the slot configuration at this time.

We're not sure who would buy either board, but then again, a Core i7 could be a cheap alternative for a workstation over a Nehalem-based Xeon processor, and as it's likely that Intel will use the X58 chipset even for single CPU Xeon boards (as well as some dual CPU ones), maybe Asus has a small market for those that want a bit more features than you normally get on a workstation board.

We'd guess both boards will be expensive and there's even a rumor that the Revolution board might not even hit the retail market. Let's hope for Asus's sake that they don't repeat the mistake they did with the X38 chipset and launch too many products that no one really wants.
