Comes with DrMOS

MSI has announced its newest addition to the DrMOS equipped motherboard list, the G45M Digital mATX motherboard.

This new HTPC loving, 244 x 225mm mATX motherboard supports Intel's 65 and 45nm Extreme/Quad/Duo LGA775 processors, has support for up to 16GB of DDR2-800 memory and comes with Intel's DirectX 10-ready X4500 integrated graphics.

MSI managed to squeeze in a single PCI-Express x16 slot, one PCI-Express x1 and two plain PCI slots. Other specs include integrated 7.1-channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet and Firewire, one eSATA and six SATA ports, and DVI, D-sub and HDMI outputs.

MSI has also included its DrMOS and APS feature on this motherboard, which should reduce power consumption and make this motherboard as "green" as it can be. Both G45 Northbridge and ICH10R Southbridge are cooled passively by a small heatsink, and this might be a great HTPC motherboard, considering all the features which MSI managed to squeeze in.

The price and the availability date are unfortunately still unknown.
