Guys from VR-Zone managed to get some pictures of DFI's upcoming Blood Iron P45-T2RS Elite motherboard. The new motherboard is just an update and has a revised PCB layout, new LAN chip and some other changes in order to make it a budget board.
The new P45 Blood Iron will have a single PCI-E x16 slot, while the second one is replaced with a third PCI-E x1 slot. The rest of the specifications include support for LGA775 CPUs ranging from 800 to 1333 FSB, four DDR2 slots for up to 8GB of 1066MHz memory, six SATAII ports, 8-channel HD audio via Realtek's ALC885 chip, one Gigabit LAN via JMC250 chip, on board power and reset buttons and much more.
Despite the fact that this is a budget board, the guys from VR-Zone have heard that this one can easily reach and exceed speeds of 600 for the FSB. Obviously, you can't expect such speeds with quad-cores. The BIOS tweaks include Vdimm, Vnb, Vcore, Vsb VHT and of course the standard DFI FSB adjustments in 1MHz increments and CPU multiplier adjustments.
According to the post at VR-Zone these motherboards will hit mass production next week, while the price is still unknown.
