At Computex, of course

Announcements of new products are trickling out by the hour, and Gigabyte is no different as the company is set to announce its new motherboards on Computex. The company will be showing of its newly designed 24-phase VRM, which should result in more and cleaner power being sent to the CPU.

As for the Intel offer, the first motherboard is supposed to cater to Core i7 users, and the GA-EX58A-Extreme, as it’s called, will of course also feature the 24-phase VRM. The second 24-phase product is the GA-EP55-UD5, and this is a LGA-1156 socket board, meaning it’s intended to run the upcoming Core i5 family. Additionally, both of these boards will feature recently announced SATA 3.0 controllers capable of 6Gbps.

Gigabyte’s AMD offer comes in the form of the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P and it’s a socket AM3 board with DDR3 1666MHz+ support, but other than that pretty uninteresting. The company should also be showing off its new AMD 785G-based motherboard with ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics.

Additionally, Lars has taken a few shots of the GA-P55-UD4P up an running at the booth and you can check them out here.
