We wrote about AMD's latest addition to its Phenom quad-core lineup yesterday,
here.
The flagship Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition is currently in stock with several retailers and the asking price ranges from €183 to well over 200. You can check out the listings
here. This is a 2.6GHz part with unlocked multipliers and a rather high 140W TDP. While €183 doesn't sound too bad, bear in mind you can get a 45nm Intel Core 2 Quad 9300 for €186.
The power efficient Phenom X4 9150e and 9350e are listed at €138 and €155, respectively. This is slightly higher than expected, but as they're still unavailable, there's a good chance they'll end up slightly cheaper once they reach the shops. We still don't have any info on availability dates for these parts.
