On Wednesday, our editor-in-chief got a briefing with EVGA at the company’s showroom in Taipei for Computex 2016, where a few new custom Geforce Pascal products were introduced for the first time. This week, EVGA is now unveiling the Geforce GTX 1080 Classified, the Geforce GTX 1080 Hybrid and the Geforce GTX 1080 SC to show that they are actual products and not just fast-looking designs printed on paper.
May be an optimization issue
On Tuesday, AMD unveiled Radeon RX 480, the first graphics card in its tenth-generation Radeon lineup, based on 14nm FinFET Polaris architecture, and already some critics have claimed that some aspects of the benchmark are not giving an accurate presentation of CrossFireX performance when tested against Nvidia's high-end Geforce GTX 1080.

On Friday, ASUS took the wraps off its latest Geforce 10 series graphics cards based on Nvidia’s Pascal architecture and specifically designed with gamers and hardware enthusiasts in mind. The company’s new ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080 and Geforce GTX 1080 Founders Edition cards are now available, with the ROG Strix option offering an impressive 1.94GHz Boost clock in OC Mod, trailing ahead most of the competition so far.
Information from Macau, China briefing arrives just before start of Q3

On Wednesday, the folks at AIDA64 released a complete list of the device hardware IDs that Nvidia will use for its upcoming Geforce 10 Pascal lineup in both mobile and desktop GPUs. The list confirms the existence of GP102, a chip the company has likely reserved for Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, a refreshed Geforce Titan series, and a few new Quadro and Tesla GPUs all expected for release several months from now.
