AMD officially confirms

Today AMD confirmed a story we wrote a while ago here.

AMD said that ""The new Barcelona projections are based on the latest SPECcpu2006 benchmarks and show that AMD expects to have up to a 50 percent advantage in floating point performance and 20 percent in integer performance over the competition’s highest-performing quad-core processor at the same frequency". This means it beats Clowertown the FSB 1333 server part.

AMD is desperate and has to confirm our leaks to get the money in the pipe. Well it works for us.
