Sega has no comment why the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines has missed its launch window. Based on its release on other platforms, we can almost guess the reason. Gearbox has also had no comment on the status of the game, but has apparently indicated that it is Sega’s decision if it does or does not release.

At this point, we can other think of two possible things that are going on here. It could be that the game is getting additional time and work on the Wii U release prior to shipping it out at some unknown point in the future. We think it is most likely, however, that Sega could be wrestling with the idea of simply canceling this disaster, figuring there is little point to releasing it.
