We found out that Hercules actually has an AMD Geode-based Netbook that is available as we speak. This machine come as rather a surprise, as AMD never talked about such a product for the retail market.

The Hercules netbook comes with 512MB memory, AMD Geode LX800 CPU, 8 inch LED 1024x600, 1.8 inch 20GB HDD, Ethernet 10/100, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 2 USB ports, a card reader, 4000 mAh battery and stereo speakers with microphone.

This machine is selling in the German etail market for around €300 and the package also includes three high-quality customization stickers. Hercules claims that the machine doesn’t have any fans and that it weighs under 1kg. Of course, it comes with Linux.
