Thai police identify Canadian pedophile

Last week we wrote about Interpol's efforts to identify a sexual predator charged with abusing a dozen Vietnamese and Cambodian boys. Interpol's public plea seems to have been successful, and Thai authorities have managed to identify the suspect as 32-year-old Canadian named Christopher Paul Neil.

Thai police think he is still in Thailand, as he was apparently spotted by immigration authorities on his arrival in Bangkok last Thursday.

The man was reportedly shown abusing young boys in more than 200 digital images. He used a digital swirl effect to obscure his face; however, he failed to realize that it was possible to undo the process. Experts from the German Bundeskriminalamt did just that, and thanks to them it seems that this individual will soon face justice.
