AcroGames to use Unreal 3 engine
Epic Games announced that Korean developer AcroGames has licensed the Unreal Engine 3 to be used in the development of future titles. AcroGames is no stranger to using Epic’s technology, most recently using the Unreal Engine 2 for the development of Lineage II for NCsoft and Magna Carta from Softmax.
Epic continues to expand the stable of developers that are using its engine technology. Epic has signed quite a few licensees, including Activision, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Vivendi Games, Midway, Capcom, Square Enix, and THQ, among others. The Unreal Engine 3 has already been used to produce such titles are Gears of War, BlackSite, Stranglehold, as well as the just released Unreal Tournament 3.
