Its third WM smartphone

Pictures of Toshiba's upcoming Portégé G910, or possibly G920 Windows Mobile 6 smartphone, have been published by the FCC as it seems like Toshiba forgot to file a request for confidentiality report with the agency. The device looks something like a bastard child of the i-mate Ultimate 7150, just uglier.

We're sorry to say this, but this is not a pretty device and an ugly design is never going to sell like hotcakes, no matter how good it works. It seems to only operate in landscape mode and it has some kind of icons along each of the short edges of the display, suggesting that they're some kind of touch sensitive short cut keys.

There isn't a lot known about the specs so far, but it will incorporate 3G support, tri-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, a rear mounted camera with flash as well as an internal camera for video calls, a 3in display, a micro SD card slot and a finger print scanner.

When closed, the front has a small display which seems to be for caller ID as well as a four way navigation pad and a couple of buttons, most likely for answering and ending calls. The QWERTY keyboard looks no different from most devices of this type and it looks like it'll be rather thick and clunky, as well.

You can find a couple of additional pictures here and the FCC filing here
