Fall Apple event now confirmed

by on26 August 2010

Launch event coming September 1st
In what has become a tradition of sorts for Apple, the company has sent out invites for its fall back-to-school event. While the company is not saying what they will be showing, judging by the invites they are sending out and the past events held around this time frame, it is safe to say that it will be music-related.

Our best sources from the land of Apple are whispering to us that we can expect the launch of new iPods, as well as a new Apple TV model. It is also rumored that Apple will announce the rental of 99 cent TV shows delivered via download.

The event, like most Apple events, will be held in San Francisco on September 1st and will kick off at 10am PST. We suspect that the rumor mill will be working overtime the next couple of days, churning out all kinds of speculation on what Apple will announce. Stay tuned for more specifics as things come to light.
