Gigabyte is prepping to launch another DPI changeable mouse, branded GM-M6800. Like previous GM-M7000, which is designed for notebooks and has adjustable DPI, this one will probably end up being a desktop part mostly targeted at budget-oriented gamers.

The DPI setting will probably top at 1600. This is not bad if you consider that the previous "gamer oriented" mice from Gigabyte had resolution of 800, 1200 or 1600DPI, which was programmable depending on your need for precision. Unlike the M6000, which was ambidextrous, this one will be  suitable only for right-handed users, which you can see from the position of those two buttons on the left side of the mouse.

This mouse isn't yet officially announced, so some of the specs such as usage of Gigabyte's V-Engine laser technology are still in question. Anyway, mouse will look as good if the price ends up to be reasonable. This is the part of the market where big peripheral players like Logitech, Microsoft and even Razer are tough competition.
