This time it's Shuriken

Scythe has thrown yet another cooler at CPU cooler market, named Shuriken CPU cooler. The name has been chosen because this is the company's lowest profile heatsink cooler, and the fact that it comes with the new "Super Slim PWM Fan” which is only 12mm thick.

The low profile feature makes this cooler a perfect candidate for almost any HTPC, without compromising performance. Back to the specs, apart from being super slim at 64mm plus the 100mm x 12mm "Super Slim PWM Fan”, this low rider is also super light at 355g, which is just a bit over the reference weight of Intel's and AMD's box coolers. It has three heatpipes and an option to mount higher performance 92mm fan by using the included fan clip.

It also features Scythe's patent pending "Versatile Tool-Free Multiplatform System", or shortly VTMS, which allows tool-free mounting to Intel's Socket 478 and Socket T/LGA 775 and AMD's Sockets 754, 939, AM2 and 940. It should be available immediately at the suggested price of US$32.00 and €27.95, of course without our all-time favorite VAT.
