Scythe launches Kama Bay Amplifier

Internal 5.25-inch audio amplifier


Following the launch of the Kama Bay Speakers, Scythe has announced yet another product that has something to do with audio equipment, called the Kama Bay Amplifier. Scythe's Kama Bay Amplifier can be used as an internal or external device.

The Kama Bay Amplifier comes with a Yamaha YDA138(D-3) digital power amplifier with two 10W channel outputs and a signal to noise ratio of up to 103dB. The integrated headphone amplifier has two 50mW channels with a SN ratio of 95dB.

The dimensions of the Kama Bay Amplifier are 152 x 113 x 41mm and it weighs at 480g. It uses either a 4-pin Molex connector or an AC adapter as its power source.

Scythe's latest venture into audio devices will be available soon with a suggested price of US $54.90 or €49.95.
