More Nexus rumours emerge

Getting… tired… yawn

Google is gearing up to launch a new Nexus phone, revamped Nexus 7 tablet and possibly even an all new 10-inch Nexus tablet next week.

For some reason, the LG Nexus 4 was leaked weeks ahead of time, with full specs and even some fancy press photos and a prototype review, which makes it almost as secret as Israel’s nuclear program. The same goes for the 32GB Nexus 7, which was even shipped ahead of time.

The latest Nexus rumour to be churned out by the rumour mill is the Nexus 10, a purported 10-inch tablet based on Samsung’s Exynos 5250 chip nestled under a 2560x1600 screen. A manual for the Nexus 10 was leaked yesterday, but it does not confirm the spec.

As for the Nexus 4, a British retailer has jumped the gun with early listings, pointing to Android 4.2, GBP 389 price tag and a white colour option. The phone should ship October 30.

Frankly with all the leaks floating around, Google really should even bother hosting a launch event. It’s a bit like throwing a huge short-notice wedding with a pregnant bride in her third trimester.
