TVii arrives in US for Wii U

by on20 December 2012

UK to wait till early 2013

Today at some point Nintendo will be launching the already announced TVii service for the Wii U. While we don’t know everything about it yet, Nintendo claims that it will “…transform and enhance the TV viewing experience,” or so they tell us.

TVii will let users browse content for cable, satellite, and even on demand services and then use the Miiverse, Facebook, and Twitter to discuss using the Wii U GamePad. In addition, users will be able to access additional content and details about the shows they are watching.

While those in the US will get it today, Wii U owners in the UK will be waiting till early 2013 to have access to it.
