Europe gets it in August

Cooler Master has officially launched its V8 CPU cooler. Previously shown at Computex, this cooling behemoth should keep CPU temperatures at bay during those long and warm summer days.

Measuring 120 x 128 x 161.1mm and weighing 865g, this CPU cooler has four aluminum heatsinks which are connected to the copper base via eight 6mm heatpipes. Those heatsinks are cooled by a 120mm fan that is placed in the middle of the cooler.

The 120mm fan has rifle bearings, and it can spin up between 800 and 1800 RPMs. It comes bundled with a speed controller. The new V8 CPU cooler supports Intel's LGA775 and AMD's 940/AM2/AM2+ socket processors.

Cooler Master's new beast should hit U.S. stores soon, and according to our sources, Europe will have to wait for it until August. The price is still unknown.
