The Gladiator and Gladiator Max

OCZ has announced its newest CPU coolers, one of them being the same one that we had a chance to picture during this year's Games Convention in Leipzig. Both coolers will use the same HDT (heatpipe direct touch) technology, which we had a chance to see on OCZ's Vendetta coolers. The only difference between these two is in heatsink size, weight and, of course, the size of the used fan.

The bigger one, called Gladiator Max, has a weight of 740g and comes equipped with a 120mm fan that spins between 800 and 1500 RPM and it produces 19.6-26.4 dBA of noise. The smaller one, Gladiator, comes with a 92mm fan that spins between 1,200 and 2,800 RPM producing amount of noise. Both fans have a life expectancy of 40,000 hours and come with a 4-pin PWM connector.

Both of the Gladiator coolers are designed for sockets AMD 754/755/939/940/AM2 and Intel LGA775 and they both have four pure copper heatpipes and pure aluminum alloy fins. Both of these coolers will be shipping with a 24-month warranty.
