Apple clamps down on Free Speech

by on04 July 2016

Cease and desist for a bloke for teaching people how to repair its gear

Fruity cargo cult Apple has ordered a take-down of a video of a bloke explaining to Apple fanboys why the gear is pants.

Louis Rossmann runs a New York repair shop and put up You Tube videos showing what is wrong with Apple gear and how it can be repaired.

His 'Why I don't use Apple products', has over 670,000 views which is pretty good. Unfortunately Apple isn't happy about it and it has unleashed its lawyers to silence the critic.

But Rossmann’s latest video, titled 'i have no title for this', has its first few minutes speaking about his upbringing and how it has made him a strong person, an attribute which will supposedly be of vital importance in the coming months.

He mentions that YouTube channels have a "finite lifespan", often because a large corporation has the power and money to shut them down. He also said that his videos and business might be gone soon.

Yeah, the Apple Cult has threatened to sue Rossman into a coma for daring to publically hate Apple products and sway its fanboys from the true path. Now readers here will know we and Rossman share similar views about Apple gear, but the reason we have not been sued is because we do not make the mistake of telling Apple fanboys how to repair hardware without going through Apple Support.

Jobs’ Mob really does not want people to know that you can repair its gear and it keeps its hardware blueprint a closely guarded secret. As a result, Apple Support charges extraordinary prices for what at times can be simple work.

So in gunning for Rossmann, Apple is attempting to make a public example of those who point out its "anti-consumer" techniques. He also has a business which provides Apple repairs at affordable prices.

In America the issue is being seen as “free speech” while over the pond it is a case of a small guy standing up against a tech giant. Either way Apple is the Ramsey Bolton in this story.
