In addition to the Home Mini, Google also showed off its new Google Home Max speaker, featuring two 4.5-inch woofers and two custom 0.7-inch tweeters. According to Google, it can produce 20 times more powerful sound compared to  Google Home and, due to its special design with a magnetic stand, it can be used both horizontally and vertically.

What makes the Google Home Max special is the fact that it uses Smart Sound, "a new audio experience" powered by Google's AI which allows it to adapt to the environment, context and preferences. It can adjust the sound dynamically in relation to its position in the room and tune to the perfect sound setting within seconds. The Google Home Max features Bluetooth and Aux connectivity and features integrated Google Assistant.
