Apple allows iPhone X out into the cold for first time

by on20 November 2017

Just in time for Winter

The fruity tax dodging cargo cult Apple has apparently fixed a flaw with in its over-priced iPhone X which caused it to stop working if the temperature dropped below freezing.

Apple fanboys from colder climates found that the phone appeared to be designed for lizard’s living in California. Once the leaves turned brown and the sky became grey, the phone started to sing California Dreaming and refused to allow itself to be touched by Apple fanboys.

While no one in their right mind would want to be touched by an Apple fanboy, the iPhone X was supposed to be touch friendly.  The issue affected few Apple fanboys than you would expect because not many of them are allowed to go outdoors without being wrapped up by their mothers so much, that they could not move, let alone take their phones out of their pockets.

Apple has now released iOS 11.1.2 for iPhones and iPads. It's a minor, bug-fix update which fixes just two problems. The first is "an issue where the iPhone X screen becomes temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid temperature drop".

The update also "addresses an issue that could cause distortion in Live Photos and videos captured with iPhone X".

So far the iOS 11's updates have largely been bug fixes which should have been fixed before the product went on sale.

The best bug fix has always been to take the phone back and buy two Android phones which do pretty much the same thing for the same price.
