Unlike the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro, which was unveiled back in March this year and had a hefty €1000 price tag, the Mi Smart Projector 2 aims to provide a an experience like you see at at a cinema  a far more chip price range, and has quite a few features for a handy, portable, plug and play projector.

It outputs at 1920x1080 resolution with an image size of anywhere between 60" (1.6m) to 120" (3.2m), depending on the distance from the wall. According to specifications, it uses 4-channel LED as a light source with 500 ANSI lumens brightness, auto-focusing, a throw ratio of 1.2:1.

It has an HDMI port, as well as a 3.5mm jack for external speakers, USB 2.0 port, and runs on Android TV 9.0 with support for Google Assistant. It also supports Chromecast, has two 5W speakers, as well as 802.11ac dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 will be available in Europe with a price tag set at €599 [600, Ed.].
