Twitter went down again days after an attack that shut down the microblogging service last week.

Twitter said on its status blog that it was "analyzing the traffic data to determine the nature of this attack," which caused an outage that appeared to last for less than half an hour. Facebook and LiveJournal were also targeted in last week's distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks which has been targeted at a pro-Georgian blogger.

Apparently pro-Russian groups don't like what he has been saying on his blogs and want to silence his criticism of Moscow's role in the Georgia-Russia war. It is strange that the Twitters of people in New York can be silenced because someone in Russia disagrees with someone in Georgia.
