Red and Black design to be GameStop exclusive

GameStop appears to have landed a new exclusive red and black wireless controller design for the Xbox 360 that will arrive next month.

The new wireless controller design for the Xbox 360 features a red and black carbon fiber looking design that some are already suggesting is ugly (to say the least). Microsoft has in the past offered a variety of different colored versions of their controllers, and Sony has also jumped into the fray offering colored designs of its own for the PlayStation 3.

While we don’t have an actual confirmation on the price of the controller yet or exactly how limited an edition this version of the controller will be, it is expected to be of the wireless play-and-charge variety and it is expected to go for $70 when it drops next month. Our sources from the land of GameStop were unable to confirm if the company is actually accepting pre-orders for it, but we suspect by the looks of the controller that it will arrive in time for the Forza 3 launch; and GameStop will be pushing it around that time for sale.
