If and when the long awaited Gran Turismo 5 ever does ship for the PlayStation 3, our sources tell us that at least one version will outdo the upcoming release of Forza 3 by including a total of three (3) Blu-ray discs.

While we already know that Forza 3 will include two discs, only one of them is actually used to play the game, while the second disc contains additional content that owners can load onto their hard drive to access it. Our sources tell us that it is likely that users will be given the ability to load extra content for Grand Turismo 5 from the second disc; while the third disc that is included will likely be a collection of special features, much like the extras that come with special edition DVDs or Blu-ray movies.

While Grand Turismo 5 is slated for release next year, our sources say that very little actual information is known about all of the exact content that will be included. One thing that does seem to have been decided is that the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is likely to be on the cover and will be the featured car for the game itself.
