Look like plain sunglasses

Vuzix has started to ship the latest addition to its line of "video eyewear" product line, the Wrap 310. Announced back in September, Wrap 310 combines Vuzix's visor-style displays with a design that resembles traditional sunglasses.

For the first time, Vuzix's video eyeware looks like something that you can actually put on your head without looking like a complete nut going down the street. The Wrap 310 features a maximum screen resolution of 428x240 for each of the displays. This should be comparable to viewing a 55-inch screen from around 3 meters away. If you think that 55-inch experience is too small for you you can go for the Wrap 920 which is equivalent to a 67-inch screen and has two displays with 640x480 resolution.

The Wrap 310 is powered by two AA-size batteries which should give it up to 6 hours of playback. The Wrap 310 is available over at Vuzix.com with a US $249.99 price tag, while its bigger Wrap 920 sells for US $349.99.

You can find them both here.
