Onza gamepad and Chimaera headset

Razer proudly announced the company’s entry on the gaming console market as they received Microsoft’s preliminary approval on developing the Xbox 360 controller dubbed Razer Onza. That’s not all though, as Razer is also working on Chimaera professional headset which is currently pending approval.

Razer Onza comes with Razer’s Hyperesponse buttons, customizable analog-stick tension, multi-function button that can be mapped by the user, the analog stick buttons or an auto-fire button by using the sliding selector switch on the bottom of the controller, etc. The Onza controller seems to be quite a charmer and Razer obviously made sure that it does, as the controller has lit edges, which should indeed be pretty cool in the dark. The Razer Onza should be available worldwide with a suggested price of $49.99.

The Razer Chimaera Professional Gaming Headset for Xbox 360, as it’s called, comes with circumaural design, which should provide comfortable gaming. It features 5.1 Channel Virtual Surround Sound system and although we haven’t had many great 5.1 experiences with headphones (I mean, even putting these two in a sentence is conflicting), we’re pretty sure that Razer will deliver a quality product. Furthermore, Razer says a Daisy-Chain solutions allows for chaining up multiple devices to allow for direct, private communication channel. The Razer Chimaera should be available worldwide when it launches with suggested pricing at $129.99.
