How was your day at school @ ?

If you want your kid to be bullied in school, giving him a silly name should do the trick.

A Chinese couple tried to name their child "@", and this is probably as bad as it gets. Needless to say, government officials weren't too happy. In fact, lawmakers banned the use of Arabic numerals and symbols from foreign languages in names earlier this year.

"The whole world uses it to write e-mail, and translated into Chinese it means 'love him'," said the proud dad, since @ in Mandarin Chinese apparently sounds a bit like "ai ta", "love him".
