DDR3 speeds gone wild

Patriot memory just announced what might be the first DDR3 at incredible 1866 MHz speed. This is not all as the company claims it can hit CL 8-8-8-20 at 1.9V.

These modules will be sold as the 2 GB paired kits and they will be cooled with Patriot’s bladed heat shield which increases heat dissipation and lowers module temperature by five to seven percent.

We don’t know the price and availability of the modules but we know that the memory has the extreme Bandwidth PC3-15000 (1866MHz) and that it comes with lifetime warranty.
