Only in Singapore for now

Creative has expanded its X-Fi lineup with yet another so-so product, the X-Fi Go! Now, we're not sure who would really want this, as it seems to be a mishmash product aimed possibly at people that hang out at Internet cafes and want better sound when playing games.

The most peculiar part of the X-Fi Go! is the fact that it has 1GB of built in-flash memory, which Creative says is meant to be using for storing save games, game profiles and just about anything else. The good news is that you don't have to install any drivers, as they're all stored on the X-Fi Go! which might give it some limited appeal to certain people.

It also supports ALchemy to make it backwards compatible with older games, Creative's CMSS-3D and EAX Advanced HD, although it's not specified which version is supported. The USB dongle has a headphone and mic connector and that's it.

Price-wise, you're looking at US$79 or €38, which is affordable, at least. The X-Fi Go! will be available in Singapore from this month, but we don't know if Creative is planning on releasing this product to the rest of the world anytime soon.

You can find the product page here.
