Monster sells a tablet

For the price of one of its wires

Monster, which is famous for peddling hugely over-priced HDMI cabling has released a cheap as chips tablet.

It looks like for $150 you can buy an eight foot Monster HDMI cable or a new seven inch tablet. The M7 tablet however looks a lot more useful and reasonable. It has a 1.6 GHz processor, 1280x800 display, 16 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM put it pretty much in line with other downmarket Android 4.1 tablets.

It also has a little extra Monster software including a PowerControl app for fiddling with compatible Monster accessories, video streaming service Vudu, and support for a special BlueTooth audio feature for movie-watching. However it is basically a bog standard Android tablet for a reasonable price, who would have thunk it from Monster?
