Releases TA790GX A3+ AM3 motherboard

Biostar has decided to join AMD's AM3 launch bonanza with its first AM3-ready motherboard, the TA790GX A3+. The new motherboard comes with support for AMD Phenom II X4 and AMD Phenom II X3, AM3 processors and is based on AMD's 790GX chipset with ATI Radeon HD 3300 graphics and integrated 128MB of DDR2 Sideport memory.

The new motherboard features a 4+1-phase VRM design, and has an independent 2-phase power design for increased memory voltage stability. Other noted features include support for ATI's Crossfire and Hybrid Crossfire, six SATA 3.0Gbps ports, 7.1 channel HD audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and DVI and HDMI outputs.

Unfortunately, the board hasn't been priced yet, but you can expect it to retail/e-tail at around €100 in Europe. The closest one that we could find is Jetway's MA3-79GDG Combo based on the same chipset but with support for both DDR2 and DDR3 memory, and this one is listed at €96.
