While it has announced both new DOOM and Dishonored 2 games, the star of Bethesda's E3 2015 press conference was certainly the new Fallout 4 game. Bethesda unveiled plenty of details including the release date, has showed first few minutes of the game, character creation, plenty of gameplay and even announced the Fallout 4: Pip Boy Edition of the game which will feature a real life Pip Boy device as well as the new Fallout Shelter game for mobile devices.
The Fallout 4 game will be based on an upgraded version of the Creation Engine, same one behind the previous Fallout games which will now include support for Physically-based Rendering (PBR) as well as dynamic volumetric lighting. You will be able to play it in both first person as well as third person modes.
As you can see from the trailer below, Bethesda also showed a first few minutes of the game and character creation as well as a lot gameplay. There is plenty to see in a over 9 minute long trailer. Bethesda promise player freedom in the game, enormous open world and plenty more.
The biggest surprise was the Fallout 4: Pip Boy Edition of the game which includes a real life Pip Boy device/gadget that will allow you to place your smartphone inside it and use it with installed Pip Boy companion app as you play the game. The companion app will be available for mobile devices but only a US $119.99 priced PiP Boy Edition of the game will get you the gadget.
In addition to the Pip Boy Edition of the game, Bethesda also announced Fallout Shelter, a Fallout series game for mobile device which took inspiration from Sim City, X-Com and other games.
The Fallout 4 will launch on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 on November 10th and we are certainly looking forward to it.
