Trailer shown at E3 took over a month to build

It seems that always after E3, we are left thinking about the moments of the conference that really hit us the hardest and made the biggest impressions. One such moment has to be the unveiling of the Forza 3 trailer by Microsoft that was put together by Turn 10 Studios.

Trying to describe the trailer to those racing fans that have yet to see it can be summed up in one word: AMAZING! The trailer took over a month to create and what really blows us away is that it was done using the built-in video editor tools from within the game itself.

While the graphics were rich and detailed, the content and look and feel of Forza 3 that was shown by this trailer has been simply described as “car ballet;” and the sheer fact that in order to complete this trailer everything had to be done from within the game itself is even more amazing.

With GT5 for the PS3 nowhere in sight, and according to reports, the GT5 developers stopped by for a look at Forza 3 and even took notes, we have to say that impressive does not even describe what Turn 10 has been able to do with Forza 3. With a scheduled launch coming in October, we suspect that the head turner will be one of the titles that will generate a lot of sales this holiday season. After all, since Microsoft bundled Forza 2 with so many Xbox 360 consoles sold, we have to think that the title has a lot of fans waiting for a sequel, and what a sequel this is.
