Starts out by being released at wrong price

It just seems that Valve can’t catch a break with all of the Left 4 Dead stuff these days. The latest has to do with the release of Crash Course on the Xbox 360.

While the Crash Course add-on pack did finally arrive today, it arrived on the Xbox 360 for download at the wrong price. Yes, that’s right; instead of being 560 Microsoft Points to download as Valve promised, when it first went up for download it was priced at 800 Microsoft Points. It would appear that Microsoft has corrected the problem, however, and it is now priced correctly at 560 Microsoft Points.

The early buzz on Crash Course is very good, however, with players who have already downloaded it claiming that it is difficult and offers a more balanced game play experience. It will be interesting to see despite all of the controversy how well Crash Course sells on the Xbox 360, but with the early positive buzz we have to think that it is going to do well.
